Core Principles

Self-defence is not about fighting — it is about awareness, confidence, and making smart decisions.

Awareness First

The best fight is the one you avoid. Learn to recognize danger before it happens through situational awareness.

Confidence & Voice

Being loud attracts attention — exactly what attackers fear. Learn to use your voice as your first line of defence.

Physical Readiness

Regular exercise keeps your body fit and ready for action. Flexibility plus speed equals power.

Smart Decisions

Self-defence is about thinking smart, trusting your instincts, and choosing yourself first. Escape is always the goal.

Digital Safety

Think before you share. Protect your passwords, avoid strangers online, and know how to block and report.

Know Your Rights

There are laws designed to protect you and people ready to support you. You are never alone.

Key Techniques

Practical skills you will learn to protect yourself effectively.

The Power Equation

Flexibility + Speed = Power. When your body is relaxed and loose, you can strike faster and generate more force.

Proper Fist Formation

Open your palm, roll fingers inward, lock with thumb. Any other way may result in injury to yourself.

Wrist Alignment

Lock your wrist properly so energy from your shoulder transfers directly to your target.

Bone-Based Blocking

The bone provides structure and strength; muscles distribute impact evenly for effective defence.

Thumb Escape

The thumb is the weakest part of any grip. Apply firm pressure with a quick, sharp movement and pull away.

Push Kick Distance

Strike with the sole of your foot using a pushing motion. The goal is to create space, not cause injury.

Understanding Vulnerable Points

Knowledge of sensitive areas helps create escape opportunities — the goal is always to get away safely.

01

Nose

Causes involuntary tears, giving you time to respond or escape. Made of cartilage attached to skull.

02

Solar Plexus

Located where the rib cage ends. Impact disrupts breathing and causes loss of balance.

03

Abdomen

Lacks rib cage protection. Vulnerable to impact when defence is needed.

04

Joints

Weak when force is applied opposite to natural movement. Use defensively for escape.
